Manitoulin Coffee Company presents our Mudge Bay Blend. This dark and sultry coffee is a unique blend of both light and dark roasted beans for a blend that delivers a rich, full bodied flavor. Using rich Colombian coffee beans and wild Ethiopian coffee beans giving Mudge Bay its distinctive and very popular flavour.

Inspired by those who like to burn the midnight oil or need the extra kick to get going, this blend is not for the faint hearted. Enjoy it anytime of day with family and friends who love a good cup of coffee!!

Our Coffee Roastery Shop is located just a few feet away from the awesome shores of Mudge Bay located in the North Channel of Lake Huron. The Kagawong River flows over Bridal Veil Falls and feeds in to Mudge Bay. During the summer months, the hiking trails along the river are very popular with families since it is quite an adventure for all ages and only take 25 minutes to hike from the falls to the Bay. You will find the Manitoulin Coffee Company on the Main Street as you walk up the boardwalk on your return to the falls. We are merely a minutes walk away from the Bridal Veil Trail, just follow the aroma of fresh coffee beans roasting.

This has become my favorite blend; and I've been a patron of Java Roasters for at least eight years. It is robust and rich, thickly flavored with a depth to it that is not tangy or burnt. I wouldn't call it sweet, but it is a mellow taste without an acidic aftertaste. I hope it's around for a long while still.

I don't usually like a dark roasted coffee but we tried this one and it was wonderful. A great flavor and smooth taste, not a hint of the charcoal bitterness you find in a lot of store bought dark roasts these days.
